Now that we are done our novel I would like you to reflect on two of the following questi0ns.  Create a new post to answer the two questions you select.

 

1. What were the 10 most important events of the story?  (When answering make sure you place the events in order)

2. What was a situation in your own life that seemed impossible at the time, but with hard work and determination you were able to complete? (must be at least 75 words)

3. What is your viewpoint on slavery?  Give many examples of why you think it is wrong or right.

4. Write a short paragraph (60-75 words) on Julilly, discussing the traits that she had to help her through the escape.

 

How Advertising Effects Us!

Advertisements are everywhere and are used by others to make their products or services stand out from the rest.  In Health we have spent some time looking at the strategies that advertisers use to attract young people to their products.  Think about the advertisements we saw in class and respond in a blog post to the following questions. Your blog post should be written in one paragraph and should be a minimum of 75 words.

 

1. What are some strategies that advertisers use to make their product appealing to young people?

2. Why are youth an appealing target for companies?

3. How have advertisements changed over the years?

4. Have advertisements ever influenced you?  Provide some examples.
